Kinney Center Walk/Run for Autism - Presented by Chubb
Saturday, September 20 | Race begins at 8:30 AM
$35 per registrant | $25 for SJU students (with valid SJU email)
Lace up your running shoes and kick-off your morning with a 3 mile run or 1 mile walk for a great cause by supporting the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support! By participating, you are supporting individuals with autism, their families, and students studying to work in the field.
Participants will receive a race day t-shirt, Wawa hot beverage coupon, snacks, and more (while supplies last).

Join us for a moderated conversation with Brandy Schillace as she discusses her book The Framed Women of Ardemore House. A neurodivergent, hyperlexic book editor, Jo Jones, taking possession of a possibly haunted family estate in North Yorkshire, finds herself at the center of a murder investigation when the groundskeeper is found dead and a family portrait goes missing, and to clear her name, she must unearth the town's secrets--and her own.
Dr. Brandy Schillace, PhD, is a historian, novelist, and television show host. Formerly an editor for two journals, Brandy works as a freelance journalist as well as a writer of nonfiction and fiction.

Join the Kinney Center and the Frances M. Maguire Art Museum for a Halloween-themed Sensory Friendly Sunday! This family-friendly event will have crafts, a scavenger hunt, and treats for kids. A quiet zone, social story, and sensory bag will be available for families.

Join the Kinney Center and the Frances M. Maguire Art Museum for a relaxed visit with Santa in a cozy, sensory-friendly space. Family photography, treats, activities, quiet spaces, and sensory kits will be available.

Autism Programs
The Kinney Center's autism services are designed to help individuals of all ages meet their personalized goals in a structured, supportive environment. Social skills, sports and recreation and vocational programming help participants develop lasting independence and build confidence needed to thrive in school, home and beyond.
Registration for Spring 2026 Programs will be available in late Fall.
