REPORTING AN INCIDENT

Saint Joseph’s University is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive learning and working environment. The well-being of our community is a shared responsibility, and all reports of concerning behavior are taken seriously.

Community members play an important role in helping the University respond early and provide appropriate support to students and employees in need. If you observe concerning behavior or potential safety issues, we encourage you to report it using the appropriate form below.

  • To report a student behavioral concern or an incident involving an allegation of bias, crime, hazing, off-campus concern, sexual harassment and/or sexual misconduct, you can use the online Incident Reporting Form. This form allows for anonymous reporting.

  • To report an act of academic dishonesty occurring within courses in the Health Professions professional curriculum (Allied Health, Nursing, OT, PT, PA, Pharm D), please fill out this online form.

    • Office of Public Safety & Security: The Office of Public Safety & Security is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in Barbelin 13 on Hawk Hill. If there is an active situation, or if you are seeking immediate assistance, you should contact the office by phone: 610-660-1111. In the event of an emergency, you should dial 911. On University City's campus, Public Safety is located in Alumni Hall (215-895-1117). In Lancaster, Public Safety's office is in the Cooper building (717-947-6009).
    • Office of Community Standards: If you would like to report an incident regarding alleged student conduct during business hours, you can contact the Office of Community Standards via email at communitystandards@sju.edu or by phone at 610-660-1046.
    • Office of Residence Life: For residential students, reports can be made to the Office of Residence Life (including professional staff members and student resident assistants). Each residential area has a Residential Area Manager and Resident Assistants who are there to assist members of the residential community. To report a concern to the Office of Residence Life, you can contact a Resident Assistant, Residential Area Manager, or the Central Office (in Sister Thea Bowman Residence Hall).
    • Office of Title IX & Equity Compliance: If you would like to report an incident regarding alleged discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation during business hours, you can contact the Office of Title IX & Equity Compliance via email at titleix@sju.edu or by phone at 610-660-1145.
