What is a Strategic Plan?

A strategic plan is an organizational strategy and vision document. It provides a roadmap for the organization's key priorities over a period of time.

Why now?

So much has changed about our University since the last strategic plan “Thinking Anew, Acting Anew,” was published in 2017, including two mergers, three locations and vast program expansion. Additionally, while the pillars in our prior strategic plan are likely to remain, many of the objectives outlined have been achieved.

Why and how should I get involved?

Strategic planning is meant to engage as many constituents and stakeholders as possible. Sessions were held throughout the the fall semester and community members are now invited to review the draft goals.

What is the role of the steering committee?

The steering committee is meant to guide the strategic planning process, ensuring stakeholder involvement, managing communication, and interpreting data and feedback.
