These assessments require a meeting with a counselor to discuss your results. Please schedule an in-person or virtual appointment with a counselor via Handshake to get started with the process.

Focus 2 Assessment

FOCUS 2 is Saint Joseph's University's online career and education planning system. This system can help you choose a major, build your career goals and gather information on jobs. Take the assessment, then schedule an appointment with a career counselor to discuss your results as they relate to your major and career exploration.

If you're a new user, create an account on the Focus 2 Career website by clicking on "Register" and using the access code "sjucareers" when prompted.

My Next Move: O*NET

The My Next Move assessment is a free, online assessment that asks 60 questions about work activities that some people do at their jobs. It is part of an interactive site where you can search careers by keywords or browse careers by industry. This assessment does not require an appointment with a career counselor.

Personal Values Assessment

The Personal Values Assessment can provide insight into what is important to you, what motivates you and what factors drive your decision-making. You can use this free assessment to gain a deeper understanding of how your values influence your career interests and future development. This assessment does not require an appointment with a career counselor.
