The article, which was featured on the front page of Spectrum, focuses on motor skills in relation to autism. It was written in collaboration with Casey Zampella, PhD, a scientist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Center for Autism Research. The two were invited by Spectrum to write the piece based on a review article that Dr. de Marchena and Dr. Zampella published together in 2021.

“It’s one of my biggest professional accomplishments,” says Dr. de Marchena of the recent piece.
