Shannon Alexander, '17

Shannon Alexander spent the summer before her senior year interning for Symphony Health Solutions, a pharmaceutical market research company. In the fall, she returned to campus to pursue a master’s degree in marketing.

An orientation leader and Hawk Host, Shannon credits the HSB faculty for shaping her definition of leadership. “St. Joe’s has given me opportunities to better myself and I believe that I am ready to put my skills to the test,” she says.

“St. Joe’s taught me to be a servant leader,” she says. “I think servant leadership is essential to being a positive member of society. By acknowledging people’s strengths and weaknesses, a servant leader is able to optimize any task at hand. As a professional I look forward to being able to add value to the workforce.”
