Saint Joseph’s University will host Commencement Exercises in Hagan Arena on May 13 and 14, 2026, for undergraduates of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), School of Education and Human Development (SEHD), School of Health Professions (SHP), Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (PCP) and Erivan K. Haub School of Business (HSB). Masters and doctoral ceremonies will be held separately on May 14 and 15, 2026.
Commencement ceremonies will be ticketed for guests. Seating is first come, first served in Hagan Arena. Please note, guests will not be permitted to enter with alcohol, open containers or noise-making devices such as airhorns, whistles, etc. These items will be confiscated. We ask families and guests of each ceremony to depart the ceremony area promptly after the conclusion of the ceremony.

If you are planning to drive to campus for the ceremonies, please allow adequate time for parking. Shuttles will run from Merion Gardens to Mandeville Hall throughout the day.
Handicapped Accessibility
Saint Joseph’s is committed to ensuring that all members of the community are able to celebrate with us at this special time of year. If you or your guests are in need of handicapped seating, please complete this form. Handicapped parking is located in the Mandeville Hall lot, with limited availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Golf carts will be on site to transport those in need of assistance to/from the Hagan Arena circle area.
Guest Expectations
The following items are prohibited:
- Noisemakers
- Laser pointers
- Blow horns
- Balloons
- Large signs
- Coolers
- Glass beverage containers
- Weapons of any sort
- Other distracting, noise-making devices that could interfere with the integrity of the event.
- Strollers may be limited based on space and seating. Umbrella strollers are recommended.
Large bags are not permitted in the venue (unless it’s a diaper bag or medical necessity). Lastly, we ask that guests and graduates refrain from standing on chairs or rushing the stage area to try to get a picture; we have professional photographers for that purpose.
