Bonnie Yu Named to the IWLCA 2024 Senior All-Star Team

Saint Joseph's midfielder Bonnie Yu has been selected to represent the North Team.
 
 The players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: North and South. The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The Division I team will play the first game at 10:00 am ET, the Division II game will follow at 12:30 pm, and the Division III teams will cap off the event with their game at 3:00 pm. Admission for all three games is free of charge. The Senior All-Star games will NOT be streamed.
 
Yu, who finished with 40 points on the season to lead the St. Joe's midfield, represents the Hawks after concluding a stellar career in 2024. The Australian was a two-time First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection, wrapping up her career with 71 games played, tallying 121 points with 93 goals. The two-way midfielder also caused 31 turnovers and won 116 draw controls in her tenure on Hawk Hill. Starting in 35 of her 36 games over the past two seasons, Yu finalized her St. Joe's career with back-to-back seasons with 30+ goals and is one of nine Hawks in program history to record more than 100 draw controls.
 
The Hawks have won six games against ranked teams in program history, Yu having been a part in each win. St. Joe's has won 10+ games in each of Yu's four years on campus, the Melbourne native helping SJU to its first NCAA Tournament appearance after the Hawks won the Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2022.
