PHILADELPHIA (March 22, 2012) – Saint Joseph's University's part-time MBA program was recognized as a "Top 25 Best Value Online MBA Program" in a recent ranking.

Business MBA, a national ranking agency, released the "Top 25" ranking on March 21. The Haub School of Business' online MBA ranked No. 11.

"Given the soaring costs of higher education, and an uncertain job market, we believe that it is important to direct students towards MBA programs that offer the best combination of a high quality education and affordability," says James Harrity, president of Business MBA.

Saint Joseph's online MBA is a 53-credit hour AACSB accredited program. Students may transfer up to 20 hours of previously earned credits into the program. Several different concentrations are offered. The cost of the program is$45,898 for 53-credit hours and financial aid is available.

The Haub School introduced the online MBA in 2011 in response to student demand. Stephen Porth, Ph.D. '80, executive director of graduate programs and associate dean, says the flexibility of the program makes the online option a popular one with students. “This format better meets the needs of many in our student population as they juggle work, family life and education,” says Porth.
