Katy Benton '23 Named to United States U-21 Women’s National Field Hockey Team
Saint Joseph's junior midfielder has been named as one of 22 athletes selected to the USA Field Hockey U-21 Women's National Team.

Saint Joseph's junior midfielder Katy Benton '23 has been named as one of 22 athletes selected to the USA Field Hockey U-21 Women's National Team, the organization announced on Friday.
"It is an honor to make the team, and I am so proud to represent Saint Joseph's field hockey at the national level," Benton says.
Benton participated in last weekend's National Team Selection Camp, held at Queens University's Bessant Field in Charlotte. She also competed at the 2021 Young Women's National Championship last June, scoring the game-winning goal as her Courage squad took the top spot in the 10-team event.
The U-21 National Team is scheduled for a training camp in Chula Vista, California, at the end of February before taking part in the FIH Junior World Cup in South Africa scheduled for April.
