Orientation Dates
Registration is now open until May 28, 2024! Orientation for the class of 2028 will be held in a two-day on-campus program with four sessions to choose from.
- June 21 - 22
- June 23 - 24
- June 25 - 26
- June 27 - 28
The day will be held on campus and will include a variety of sessions for students and a short program for parents/families.
IMPORTANT: The day following the conclusion of the two-day program concludes, students will be assigned a time to register online for fall classes.

| 5:45 p.m. | Walk to Overbrook Train Station (6:15 p.m./6:28 p.m. on Sunday) |

Register for Orientation through the New Hawks Portal
Visit the New Hawks Portal in the Nest to complete your checklist items including registring for orientation. Use your SJU sign-on credentials.
Want to Move In Early?
Early Arrival
Did you know you can arrive on campus up to a week early to meet new friends, take on a community service project, explore historic Philadelphia or take a science course? It’s all part of our Student Success Center’s early arrival program.

MOVE-IN & WELCOME WEEKEND
The first day of classes in Fall 2024 is August 26. We can't wait to welcome all new hawks to campus! Saint Joseph's offers a weekend of activities to celebrate your arrival on campus.
