My colleague Rachel Bull (an SJU MBA alumna) recommended the SJU MBA part-time program, and I loved that I could take class online as well as in person. Choosing the program in BI / Analytics really helped me to fine-tune my skills and direct my career in line with my passion. When Rachel moved into Supply Chain after her time in Internal Audit, she told me how much she was enjoying it. Having a role model allows me to picture myself doing the same. That connection and mentoring is invaluable.

It confirmed that I can succeed in a career change! I feel confident pursuing certifications in my field. So far I am a Certified Supply Chain Professional, and I plan to take the Six Sigma foundations course next spring! I love that I have the tools and confidence to pursue my passions.

When I started my journey at SJU, I was working in Internal Audit at Campbell Soup. While I enjoyed Finance and Operational Audits, I really loved analytics and working to improve processes. In August 2017 I moved to Supply Chain as a Supply Chain Analyst, and in April 2018 I was promoted to Network Optimization Planner. I love my job! I get to improve the overall network of freight, production, and warehousing and maximize cost-saving opportunities. I use software such as Supply Chain Guru to create the models and use data to answer questions.
