Saint Joseph University's faculty and academic support functions provide resources for teaching, learning and research, including the registrar, academic advising, the Cornerstone Core Curriculum, University Press, the Honors Program, Fellowships Office and Writing Center.

Its Office of Institutional Effectiveness leads institutional planning and improvement activities, with a focus on integrating the collection, analysis, and sharing of data and outcomes to demonstrate how SJU is fulfilling its mission and meeting its goals.
