About the Office of Teaching and Learning
Overview
Mission:
The Office of Teaching and Learning promotes teaching excellence for the integrated university by
- fostering communities of learners among all faculty on current teaching and learning issues,
- creating an integrated approach to supporting faculty in different processes, and
- deepening collaborations with other university stakeholders who contribute to quality learning experience and successes of all of our students.
Vision:
The Office of Teaching and Learning will transform the student learning experience at Saint Joseph’s by building on traditional strengths such as cura personalis, strong liberal arts core, and community engagement, while embracing pedagogical innovation and a bold vision for the future of Jesuit higher education.
