Before the Virtual Fair: Schedules
Now that you have registered for the Spring 2024 Virtual Career Fair, you must take the following steps to ensure students can schedule time to meet with you on the day of the fair.
- Set up your schedule for the fair: Click here for useful instructions on setting up your team's schedule and preparing for the Virtual Career Fair. You can schedule 30-minute group meetings or 10 minute 1:1s. If you’d like to host a group meeting for more than 50 students during the fair, you’ll be able to enter an external video meeting link and host the meeting in the system of your choice.
- Group Sessions: The purpose of a group session is to share general information and answer questions about your organization and the jobs and internship opportunities you offer. These sessions are open to all class years and majors.
- 1:1 Sessions: These sessions allow you and your team members to meet individually with students for up to 10 minutes. While you do have the option to set preferences to only meet with students that match specific role requirements, we encourage employers to keep these conversations open to as many students as possible, similar to how you would speak to individual students approaching your table at an in-person event.
- Share scheduling information with your team members: After you create your team's schedule, your team members MUST claim their schedules. Your team members can refer to this article for information about claiming the schedule you've created for them and participating in the virtual fair. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SIGN UP TO MEET WITH YOUR TEAM AT THE FAIR UNTIL ALL TEAM MEMBER'S SCHEDULES HAVE BEEN CLAIMED.
- All team members should review video requirements ahead of the fair. We also recommend using the Google Chrome browser and disabling VPN during the event. This will lessen the likelihood of experiencing technical issues on the day of the event.
