Beginning this fall, Saint Joseph’s University will provide Cabrini University students with a seamless path to admission. Cabrini students will be guaranteed admission to Saint Joseph’s with a tuition match. All previously completed credits at Cabrini, including general education requirements, will be accepted while offering an ever-growing portfolio of degree programs. The University aims to make this transition quick and easy for every Cabrini student interested in transferring.
Cabrini University students will find a like-minded community, with similar values and an exceptional college experience. Saint Joseph’s expanded its healthcare portfolio, having acquired University of the Sciences last year and is looking ahead to another merger with the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences in Lancaster this January, pending accreditations. These new programs round out existing strengths in science, business, humanities and education. By facilitating this transition, Saint Joseph’s is committed to ensuring a smooth academic journey for Cabrini students, guaranteeing they can continue their pursuit of higher education without further disruption.
“We are excited to extend our warm welcome to students of Cabrini University,” says Cheryl A. McConnell, PhD, president of Saint Joseph’s. “Statistics about student persistence when universities close are alarming. We know that nearly half of impacted students won’t continue their studies. We don’t want to see that happen. For St. Joe’s, this effort is mission-critical and what we are called to do as a Jesuit institution of higher education.”
Students interested in taking advantage of this opportunity are encouraged to visit our Cabrini transfer webpage or contact Saint Joseph’s admissions office for further details and guidance throughout the application process.
