Editing Basic Pages
Editing
Editing a basic page is by far the easiest bit of editing you will do. A basic page is a page that contains nothing but a Title and content entered into Drupal's WYSIWYG editor. There are no components to add to the page. Just choose a title and start putting your content into the WYSIWYG editor.
Some pages are largely text-based:
Example: https://www.sju.edu/departments/philadelphia-college-pharmacy/bov
Tip: If you have a page that is largely text without images, try to break up blocks of text by using headings.
Others make use of images entered through the WYSIWYG's image menu:
Example: https://www.sju.edu/maguire-art-museum/Family-Day
💡 Note: Although images can be put on the page using the WYSIWYG editor, all images will appear as full-width images. Please do not upload a low-res photo that also happens to be too small and will explode in size on the web page into the media library.
Basic pages also follow the same principles of editing, previewing, and publishing Landing or Chaptered pages as well as URL Alias and SEO consideration.
Embedding a form from Machform
If you wish to embed a form from Machform, this is the content type you would use. When doing so, please be sure to have "Full HTML" selected and use the source editor to add the code. If you have any questions, please submit a ticket.
