In Your Residence Hall

Collect trash separately from recyclables. Bring all waste to the trash room or dumpsters, depending on the setup of your building. Do not put your room trash and recycling in common areas, like lounges or bathrooms. Make sure to break down cardboard and crush cans before recycling to reduce the volume of your waste.

In Your Office

Office waste is emptied every two weeks. To prevent pests and unwelcome smells, take any waste containing food materials to central trash bins, which are emptied on a more frequent basis. Make sure to break down cardboard and crush cans before recycling to reduce the volume of your waste.
