Risk exists in just about every area of industry. Risk management and insurance (RMI) makes business happen. This field is about adding value, mitigating risk and moving ahead.
There are more jobs in risk management than people to fill them. In studying Risk Management and Insurance at Saint Joseph's, students find great career opportunities and acquire indispensable skill sets. Because corporations, hospitals and government units are recognizing RMI as an important and growing field, graduates can pursue numerous career paths, utilizing the skills of analytics, oral and written communication, and computer literacy, among others.
The Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance through the Haub Degree Completion Program allows students to explore various areas of risk management and insurance while providing the flexibility to take day and evening coursework from an AACSB-accredited university. Saint Joseph's Academy of Risk Management and Insurance, comprised of local insurers, further supports students in the program through internships and networking opportunities.
Please note that this degree program cannot be completed entirely online, though many of our non-major courses can be. Students may be required to take some daytime courses on campus for this major.
