Mathematics
As a mathematics major or minor at Saint Joseph's University, you will study abstract algebra, real analysis, statistics and more. The program provides the experience necessary to help you become an analytical thinker with a commitment to problem-solving, a highly-regarded skill in any career path. The applied mathematics concentration consists of one required course, MAT 238 Differential Equations, and two elective courses out of five possible courses listed below. The concentration is intended to be an option for mathematics majors to make their transcripts specifically demonstrate students’ familiarity with applied mathematics.
