Saint Joseph’s University works with families to help make an SJU education affordable through need-based grants, loans and federal work study. To qualify for need-based financial assistance, you must fill out and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The preferred FAFSA filing deadline is February 15, and SJU’s federal school code is 003367 (only U.S. citizens or permanent residents should complete a FAFSA). Every student who completes an application for admission is automatically considered for merit scholarships. Awards are made based on the strength of the applicant pool. Saint Joseph’s three merit scholarships are valued from partial to full tuition. Other special scholarships may require separate applications that include SAT or ACT scores.
