Saint Joseph’s University’s Ethical Coaching in Sports Certificate equips students with essential leadership skills to be a more effective and more ethical coach in the sports domain. Students will learn organizational theories and approaches to improve their support of scholar-athletes.

Saint Joseph’s Ethical Coaching in Sports Certificate is the first graduate certificate in ethical coaching available anywhere in the U.S. You will have the opportunity to gain a competitive edge and differentiate yourself from your peers with this unique sports coaching certification.

You will have the opportunity to engage in networking events facilitated by the Athletics Department at Saint Joseph’s, a Division I sports school. Build your network by connecting with coaches and athletic directors who are well-respected in the sports industry.

Coursework will focus on specific issues and challenges faced by athletic coaches seeking to be more attentive to the needs of today’s scholar-athletes. You will build an understanding about equity in organizations and strengthen your role as a champion of diversity, equity and inclusion within the sports industry.
