Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Business MS
The Saint Joseph's University Master of Science in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business is a 30-credit, fully-online program designed for professionals already working in pharmaceutical and healthcare industries who want to deepen their expertise and advance in their careers.
Unlike an MBA, the MS allows you to skip the business core and go straight into specialized, industry-focused coursework — covering everything from pharmaceutical marketing and pharmacoeconomics to supply chain management, R&D, pricing and reimbursement. The program is built around a deep understanding of how the healthcare industry functions from every angle: biopharmaceutical products, patients, payers and provider networks.
What Sets Our Program Apart
-
The degree is structured so that all 10 courses are focused entirely within the scope of pharmaceutical and healthcare business. Unlike the MBA program, there are no general business core requirements, so every course builds directly on your existing industry knowledge and prepares you to take on greater responsibility in your field.
-
With a large selection of electives, you can tailor coursework to your personal goals. Whether you want to focus on pharmaceutical research and development, or branch out into supply chain, pricing and managed market access, this is a curriculum that adapts to where you want to go.
-
Students in the MS program may also be eligible to earn one or more graduate certificates while completing their degree. Choose from certificates in Managed Market Access, Biotech and Life Sciences Management, and Healthcare Management, adding additional credentials to your professional profile.
-
Our faculty bring significant real-world experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, and are actively engaged with the professional community. That connection translates into a classroom experience grounded in current industry practice — and a network that can support your career advancement.
