Education MS - Foreign Language Education PK-12
The Master of Science in Foreign Language Education (PK-12) program at Saint Joseph’s University will help you learn how to identify the diverse developmental needs and abilities of learners ranging from pre-K through 12th grade. You will be equipped to use this information when selecting instructional strategies and making curriculum decisions related to language learning.
This 30-credit program includes Level 1 teacher certification preparation in one of the following languages:

Through Saint Joseph's 4+1 program, current undergraduate students who are studying French, Latin and Spanish can start earning credits toward their Education MS, allowing them to earn a master's degree in just five years. Students interested must apply to the graduate program in their junior year and be conditionally accepted before they complete their bachelor's degree.

Graduate assistantships are offered on a limited basis. Full-time Biology MS students are eligible for graduate teaching assistantships that provide a stipend and scholarship for tuition. Qualified students may find employment as assistants in introductory laboratories. Please contact the program director for availability.

To be considered for admission you must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and have earned an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
