    On Thursday, April 23, Saint Joseph’s University hosted a debate for the Democratic Primary of the Philadelphia mayoral race. The debate, moderated by Lucy Noland and hosted by Iain Page of FOX 29, featured questions asked by SJU students. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the debate was “the liveliest exchange of the campaign and evidence that it remains a close affair as the May 19 vote nears.”

    PHILADELPHIA (May 5, 2015) — Saint Joseph’s University sophomore, Morgan Bui of Fairfax, Va., has been awarded the Andrew Mutch Scholarship by the St. Andrew’s Society of Philadelphia. The $20,000 award will allow Bui to continue her studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, during her junior year.

    PHILADELPHIA (May 1, 2015) – Saint Joseph’s newly established, Pennsylvania Department of Education approved program for the preparation of teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing will graduate its first cohort of students in 2015: two this month, and another four by the end of the year. The M.S. program includes an online-only curriculum, which through the help of technology will prepare future teachers in educating individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing.
